Sandi Studied Tokyo Olympic Preparations to Succeed Asian Games

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno meets with Director of Transportation Venue Division of the 2020th Olympic and Paralympic Bureau of Tokyo, Yuichi Matsumoto, in Japan.  

There are some things that can be imposed in the Asian Games

The meeting is done to study the local government policies during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics that could be implemented for the success of the Asian Games in Jakarta.

Sandi disclosed the upcoming Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang is getting close. Hence, various preparations ranging from transportation to infrastructure need to be done well for smoothing such international sporting competition.

Sandi Discussed Potential Cooperation Between Jakarta-Tokyo

"There are some things that can be imposed in the Asian Games, such as arrangement of spectators who use the train and the arrangement of roads or tolls for athletes," he expressed, Thursday (2/22).

He also gets input about the need for mobility regulation of vehicles and people during the event. "It's needed to prevent traffic jam or any activities in one location," he said.

As for the information, he also meets with the boss of a Japanese multinational company, Nippon Electric Corporation (NEC). They expressed their readiness to cooperate in the implementation of the Asian Games.
